Ms. Jeannine

Ms. Jeannine is a seasoned educator with over 25 years of experience teaching in homeschool, private, and public-school environments. She holds a bachelor’s degree in international studies and has pursued graduate-level coursework in Instruction and Curriculum. Certified in Bilingual Education and Gifted & Talented Instruction, Jeannine also completed the rigorous Texas Reading Academy, gaining advanced expertise in literacy development across all grade levels.

Currently serving as a Library Media Specialist, Jeannine mentors fellow educators in embedding reading and writing strategies into all subject areas. Her training in AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) equips her to design inquiry-based, collaborative lessons that build students’ critical thinking and academic writing skills.

At the heart of Jeannine’s teaching philosophy is the belief that empowered thinking leads to powerful writing. She is passionate about helping each student—whether a reluctant writer or a high-achieving scholar—find their voice through structured instruction, personalized feedback, and confidence-building support. Her approach makes writing not only accessible, but meaningful and even enjoyable.

Jeannine’s students benefit from her deep expertise in grammar, organization, and writing fluency, as well as her ability to tailor instruction to meet a wide range of learner needs.
