Amara is an internationally-minded English educator whose teaching reflects both academic excellence and a deep commitment to student growth. With experience spanning classrooms in the United States, abroad, and online, she creates dynamic learning environments where students feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow as writers, readers, and thinkers.
Amara holds a B.A. in Secondary English Education from Indiana University and an M.A. in English Studies from East Carolina University. Her advanced academic preparation includes graduate certificates in Multicultural & Transnational Literature and Teaching English at the Two-Year College. She is licensed to teach English Language Arts for grades 6–12 in North Carolina.
